No surprise then that Haddo’s Library is the perfect place to screen this movie classic. \nAdding an extra dimension to the evening\, and for a special few (those quickest off the mark!)\, Haddo House have created a mini\, film-linked tour\, highlighting the family’s relationship with the Nile and with Egypt\, plus the chance to see some of their artefacts from their travels. Lord & Lady Aberdeen\, who created the Haddo House you see today\, honeymooned in Egypt and along the Nile in 1877-78. They were away for a year\, and the stories you will hear of their adventures\, the people they met\, and their philanthropy\, will both surprise and delight. \nThis mini tour\, created especially to accompany the film\, has limited capacity – only 15 tickets are available for each of the two time slots.
