At NEAT, we haven’t raised our ticket prices since 2018.

Even in 2021, during the height of the pandemic and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, we made a conscious decision to keep prices affordable, so that everyone could continue to enjoy live theatre and cinema screenings.

However, the landscape has changed. The average cost of promoting a live performance is now £750, and hosting a cinema screening costs around £150. Meanwhile, village halls and community centres, where most of our events take place, are facing rising energy and maintenance costs.

NEAT shares ticket income with these venues, and keeping prices frozen means our volunteer promoters may not see the income growth they need to sustain their community space.

As a charity, NEAT is committed to accessibility and sustainability. We aim to continue providing high-quality cultural experiences to rural communities, but we can only do so with your support.
