About the short films
These short films share the stories behind the Positive Action Grant, capturing the people, places and activities that bring culture and creativity into rural communities. The videos focus on real experiences, showing how locally led cultural activity supports wellbeing, strengthens connections and helps communities feel more confident, creative and connected.
Through voices from participants, volunteers and creative practitioners, the films celebrate community‑led action and the lasting value of cultural activity delivered close to home. They highlight how small‑scale support can grow into meaningful experiences that enrich everyday community life.
