Free Training for Aberdeenshire Communities
NEAT is delighted to announce the return of The Online Bothy this Easter — a unique, free opportunity for volunteers, residents, and community workers across Aberdeenshire to develop new skills, spark ideas, and connect with others who care about their local area.
Delivered by NEAT in partnership with Simon Gall (Expressing Scotland CIC), the Online Bothy offers a welcoming and practical programme designed to help people plan, fund, deliver, and evaluate community activities. Whether you’re already involved in local projects or just starting to explore how you might support your community, the Online Bothy offers a welcoming space to learn and grow.
Running across four online evening sessions and a final in‑person gathering in Inverurie, this year’s Bothy covers everything from budgeting and planning to marketing, partnership building, and monitoring impact. All sessions are free to attend and offer valuable peer‑to‑peer learning alongside professional insights.
Spaces are limited, and early registration is encouraged.
